Overall: Amber is a abstruse woman. She has lived on her own for most of her life. She has learned to manipulate people by controlling them through fear. This girl will settle for nothing less of perfection, she finds it the only way to be liked. She may be dedicated but she shows too much pride in herself. As a child she would react with hostility and hatred if someone was to out do her. She is excessively proud and/ or concerned about her appearance, qualities, and achievements. Believing that power and domination is the only way to be a stronger person. She’s short of sympathy, has a tendency to use people, and seems to not be able to see them as her equal. Her lack of emotion adds to her immorality, she is able to do things without hesitation. Amber has proved herself a good strategist and is capable of predicting what her enemies will do in battle. She has also shown an over competitive nature. Even though Amber shows self-confidence she does contain some insecurities, like everyone else. She finds it unbearable to kill a civilian and/or an innocent person, she doesn’t want to live with the guilt. Amber isn’t always comfortable in your everyday situations, for example being in a big crowd of people or talking to teenage boys. She also finds it hard to trust other people which leads to her controlling them with fear and doing things herself.

Weapons: Amber prefers hand-to-hand combat because that is where her skills lie. But, she also carriers a knife with her just in case it's needed. On occasions she will use a whip but she rarely ever does.

Overall: Amber is a deep sun tanned woman. She's lean but also has well built muscles that help her carry out her duties. She has a trace of an accent [in the real world it would sound Australian], it adds to her charm. You can often find Amber raising her eyebrows and she almost always has her poker face on. She walks with confidence and swagger. Amber likes to appear as a 'bad girl'. This girl just can't seem to stay away from the color black and gold. Although she may like to look bad she loathes tattoos and anything that has to do with permanent things on the skin.

HISTORY

History: Amber was born to Mai, a Follower of the Order of the Flame. Her mother definitely wasn't well known and she didn't even know who her father was. Mai raised Amber on her own until she turned five. At that age she gave Amber to an orphanage. Amber did not fit in with the other children and was one of the only mischievous kids there. She got into trouble all the time and was always frowned upon. When she reached age ten her powers were starting to evolve. She almost burned down the orphanage during an experiment with them. Thus, she was kicked out to live on the streets. Amber grew up alone, fending for herself and only caring about herself. She earned a living by performing on the streets. She became a professional acrobat when she found another Follower named Leigh -- she was twelve by this time. Leigh mentored her and took her in. Amber learned from Leigh and liked to consider her her Aunt or even Mother. Leigh also taught her pressure points which allow you to stop someone's power flow. After about a year -- by now age thirteen -- of training with Leigh, Leigh told her that she was a trained assassin and that she wanted to bring Amber into the business. Leigh was a hard-core woman and was of age twenty-five. But, she would sometimes show her soft side with Amber. Since Leigh was an assassin, she was far beyond familiar with the art of persuasion, deception, intimidation, and lying. She taught Amber in all of these ways. Amber soon became just as about as hardcore as Leigh. She worked with her until age nineteen. Leigh was murdered by another assassin and that assassin was out to get Amber as well. The only decision she had was to run. The Order of Flame hierarchies were recruiting some new members and Amber knew that Leigh would probably want her to join them. So, she did. She auditioned for one of their warriors but was placed in the rank of Lieutenant. She was considered an apprentice and was mentored by a man named Bato. She took his place after his early retirement due to the loss of sight.

ROLEPLAY SAMPLE

A lonely gray she-cat dragged her paws across the cold stone ground. She was exhausted and she had no where else to go now that she had left her home. No, she didn't just leave her clan, but she abandoned it, she vanished when they needed her most. How could she be so fragile and selfish? Thunderclan was where she belonged, but she left her only home for the life of a loner. Sure, she was shocked when her oh-so loyal deputy left Thunderclan and betrayed her, but that didn't mean it was okay for her to leave. The bottom line was that it wasn't right to leave her clan without any aid. It hit her, she was a traitor too. Elkstar, the former leader of Thunderclan, was a traitor.

Elkstar padded ever so slowly forward. She kept her head down, feeling uncomfortable being in the presence of Starclan when she was no longer a part of the clans. The she-cat pushed her guilt away and kept walking. Suddenly, she could see, an eerie glow up ahead. It was the legendary Moonstone. Elkstar had seen it before but it still left her awestruck every time she laid her eyes upon it. She lengthened her stride and reached it within a few heartbeats. Curling up against it, she pressed her nose to the cold, iridescent stone. A rainbow of colors and stars swirled around her until she found herself standing in the Thunderclan camp. All was quiet, the night air was crisp and not too hot or too cold, it was just right. A shimmer of sparkles formed into a cat before her. It was Bluestar, a former leader of Thunderclan, and one of the cats that gave her one of her nine lives.

Thanks for joining Shadow on the Sun. Your biography looks really good so far; I can't wait to see it when it's finished.

That said, I wanted to point out a mistake so that you can fix it now before you have the entire biography finished and have to change it.

From mention of airplanes and her clothing, I don't think that you've read the Culture post just yet. It's right here, just in case. Ysera is a world that isn't modern yet; no airplanes or vehicles have been invented, and the clothing rules are a little bit different.

Since this is only the environment that's changing and nothing seems to be wrong with her character, I'm sure once you fix that and finish your biography that you'll be accepted. ^^

Good biography -- only issue is that she will have to be twenty-five, as we are not going to make exceptions. As mentioned, if we let one person break the rules, everyone will want to break the rules. Don't be afraid of making older characters! Simply fix that minor detail.

Now that you are accepted, because you are applying for a high position, go ahead and post in the auditions board. I'm sure that Amber will be an asset to the Order of Flame (especially since we only have performers right now).
